Sydney has won its bid to host the 2023 'WorldPride'. The harbour city fended off strong competition from Houston and Montreal at a ceremony in Athens, winning 60 per cent of votes. The festival will be held over February and March, to coincide with the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
